  1. Album Details 26 Jan 10

    So my first record is coming out on the 26th of february in Ireland. Its called ‘Early in the Morning’, I made it by myself over 6 months in 2009. It was mixed by a guy named Mike Cave in Liverpool, who turned what was a set of shonky sounding recordings into something so much bigger and magical sounding than I ever thought it could be.

    It’s an album with a lot of light and shade. I didn’t want to make a folk record that was just me and the guitar. This is my first opportunity to put something in the world, and I wanted it to have it’s big moments as well as it’s little ones. I think thats what i’ve ended up with anyways.

    I’ll be playing a lot over the next while, all the dates will be on myspace, and here on the tour page. The album will be available to order here as well, for anyone not in Ireland that wants it right away.

    This is all completely new for me, i’m absolutely making it up as i go along. But I am so proud of the piece of music i’ve made, it’s indelibly me.

And proud you should be, even if it wears off me, which I hope not, I wont forget how it woke me up from my ill stupor , as Pat Kenny introduced you I thought, here we go again, more of his inane hyperole, not a chance.

I saw you on The View and though you were original and easy on the ear. Saw your CD in the shop today and have bought and played it. Sounds very good and I think that it is a real grower. Gave you a plug on APUG a world wide web for analoge photographers.
