I, quite heavy-heartedly, went into a HMV earlier today with no kind of expectations as to what i was going to pick up, i’d about twenty euro left from my meager students allowance for the week, and was willing to blow it on the nearest tat to hand, but then as I perused, I heard a crystal voice on the overhead speakers, and i looked around thinking, jesus, can no one else hear that? am i the only one? as you can imagine everyone in a Henry street store, bodding around, heads down, in a very irish manner. So I walked up to the nearest employee and said the thing ive never had the chance to say, but always wanted to say to one of these cool cats, one of the coolest inquiries a person can ever have: ‘‘Here, can you just get me whatever album you have playing there mate? cheers’‘. And i have to say, it has to be one of the best albums i’ve heard in a while. one more reason to be proud to be irish.

Just listening to you now on Pat Kenny, will definitely be seeing you at the Sugar club. wow!!
